Case Details

This 69 year-old woman had undergone breast augmentation 44 years earlier with silicone gel implants.  She noted that her breasts had become droopy over the years and she wanted to have a better shape.  She visited with Dr. Kunkel in his office near the Fort Worth Medical District to learn about options.  After learning about what might be done, she decided to have new implants placed and the scar tissue capsules of the old implants removed.  She also decided to undergo breast lifts.  Her surgery took place at a Fort Worth hospital and she went home that day.  Her old breast implants were found to still be intact.  Dr. Kunkel placed new 275 ml silicone gel implants and performed mastopexies.  Her postoperative result is shown 10 months later.  Remember that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
