Case Details

This 62 year-old woman is an enthusiastic runner.  Despite being healthy and active, her abdominal skin was loose.  She visited with Dr. Kunkel in his plastic surgery office near the Fort Worth Medical District to learn about her options.  She decided to undergo a tummy tuck but did not want her abdominal muscles to be tightened.  Her surgery took place at a Fort Worth hospital and she went home that day.  Dr. Kunkel removed 10 inches of skin between the belly button and the pubic area.  According to her wishes, he did not pull the abdominal rectus muscles together, and she did not undergo liposuction.  Her results are shown 7 months later.  *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
