This 49 year-old woman developed cancer in her right breast. She underwent a right mastectomy by a breast oncology surgeon in a Fort Worth hospital. During that operation Dr. Kunkel reconstructed her breast with a latissimus flap and tissue expander. A few months later the tissue expander was replaced with a 550 cc round silicone gel breast implant. Her nipple was reconstructed after that. *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
