Case Details
This 47 years old woman was found to have DCIS in her left breast. She is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 256 pounds, and has a BMI of 40. To remove the DCIS from her left breast a Fort Worth breast oncology surgeon performed a partial mastectomy/lumpectomy. Dr. Kunkel rearranged the remaining tissues of her left breast using oncoplastic breast surgery technique. He also performed a right breast reduction. Radiation of the left breast was required after surgery. Her ‘After’ result is shown 4 weeks after completing the radiation. *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
