Case Details

This 57 year-old professor from the San Antonio – Austin area of Texas had been pregnant 5 times.  She did not like how her skin had stretched and would hang over her underwear and bathing suits.  She travelled to Fort Worth to visit with Dr. Kunkel in his plastic surgery office near the Medical District.  Her main concern was the looseness in her lower abdomen.  After discussing her desires and options with Dr. Kunkel, she elected to undergo a lower abdominoplasty.  During her surgery Dr. Kunkel removed her lower abdominal skin but did not need to make an incision around her belly button.  Her photographs are shown 4 months later.  She underwent breast reduction surgery at the same time.  Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
