This 61 year-old woman from the Haslet – Keller – Saginaw area of North Texas lost 50 pounds after a gastric sleeve procedure.  She developed substantial amounts of loose skin and wanted to get rid of it.  However, she had also undergone spinal fusion surgery for back pain.  She wanted a tummy tuck but did not want to walk bent over after surgery because it would hurt her back.  After visiting with Dr. Kunkel in Fort Worth, she decided to undergo a fleur de-lis abdominoplasty.  This would allow removal of maximal amounts of skin while also making it so she wouldn’t have to stay in a bent position for several days.  Dr. Kunkel removed 11 inches of skin below her belly button.  *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
