Case Details

This 55 year-old woman had undergone breast lifts and augmentation with silicone gel implants 17 years-ago.  Over time she developed lupus and Sjogren syndrome and became concerned her implants may be contributing to that.  After visiting with Dr. Kunkel in Fort Worth she decided to have the breast implants and surrounding scar tissue capsules removed and to also undergo  new mastopexies.  Her joints felt better after the implants were removed.  *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
