Case Details

This 21 year-old woman had pain in her back, neck, and shoulders.   Prescription medications were required to help with the rashes that developed beneath her breasts.  She visited with Dr. Kunkel in his plastic surgery office near the Fort Worth Medical District to learn about breast reduction surgery.  Dr. Kunkel performed breast reductions in a Fort Worth hospital.  The procedure took about 3.5 hours to complete and she went home the same day.    8.2 pounds of breast tissue were removed during the procedure (about the weight of a newborn baby!).  Her postoperative photograph is shown 6 months after her surgery.  She wore a 38H bra before surgery and 42C after.   Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
