Case Details

This 19 year-old woman had pain in her neck and shoulders.  She was worried that she was developing a “humped back” because of how she carried the weight of her large breasts.  Treatments by a chiropractor and physical therapist did not improve her symptoms.  She visited with Dr. Kunkel in his plastic surgery office in the Fort Worth Medical District and decided to undergo breast reduction surgery.  The surgery took place at a Fort Worth hospital and she went home the same day.  Dr. Kunkel removed 512 grams of tissue from her right breast and 582 grams from her left.  She wore a 34DDD bra before surgery and a 34D after.  The ‘after’ photographs are shown 3 months after her surgery.  Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
