Who Are Fort Worth’s Top Doctors?

Top Doctors in the Fort Worth area lists are published every year.  Fort Worth Magazine, 360 West Magazine, and Texas Monthly are three of the more well-known magazines in Fort Worth, and each publishes its own list.  Texas Monthly‘s list is created by an organization called Super Doctors ®.  Another organization, Castle Connolly, also publishes a list.  To be on one of these lists, you have to be nominated by a physician.  A physician can’t just call one of these magazines and ask to be listed, and cannot buy her or his way onto the magazine’s list.  Physicians nominate other physicians they know and trust.  Each of the publications has a review process, then makes the final selections.

I have been fortunate to have been selected for inclusion in all of these publications’ most recent Top Doctors and Super Doctors lists.  Does that make me the best plastic surgeon in Fort Worth?  Of course not.  There are a lot of very, very good plastic surgeons in the Fort Worth and North Texas area.  Several of them are included on the lists too.  As physicians, we all see patients that overlap care with other physicians.  We hear stories and see results.  Being included on the lists is an acknowledgement that a doctor is generally taking very good care of her or his patients.

Not being included on the lists does not mean a physician is a bad doctor.  Perhaps that doctor is new to the area, or has an office in a more remote area of the Tarrant County area, for instance.

Every member of our office staff takes pride in being named to these lists.  It makes us all work harder, trying to get listed every year.  We want our patients to achieve wonderful outcomes and have an exceptional experience.  Being named a TopDoc by Fort Worth Magazine 23 times and listed as a Super Doctor in Texas Monthly 18 times reflects that commitment.
