This 70 year-old woman underwent breast augmentation 38 years previously. Both breast implants became firm. An ultrasound found both of her breast implants were ruptured. After visiting with Dr. Kunkel in Fort Worth she elected to have the implants and scar tissue capsules removed (“capsulectomies”). Breast lifts were performed at the same time. Her result is shown 2 months after her breast implant removal surgery. The scars fade with time. *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
