Case Details

This 41 year-old woman developed cancer in her right breast.  She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.  To treat the cancer a Fort Worth breast oncology surgeon performed bilateral mastectomies.  Dr. Kunkel reconstructed each breast with a tissue expander.  The expanders were replaced 3 1/2 months later with 510 ml round silicone gel breast implants.  Dr. Kunkel also grafted 100 ml fat into the upper area of her right breast and 73 ml fat into her left breast at that time.  *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
