This 52 year-old mother of two is also a teacher. She was found to have cancer in her left breast and decided to have both breasts removed to treat that. During the mastectomy surgery Dr. Kunkel found diminished circulation to her tissues, so he placed tissue expanders. She went home the same day; she did not have to stay overnight in the hospital in Fort Worth. Four months later her tissue expanders were replaced with 405 ml round silicone gel breast implants. The postoperative result shown was taken four months after that second procedure. *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
