This 58 year-old avid scuba diver spends a lot of time at the beach. Over the years the sun, wind, and tissue changes from aging affected her appearance. She did not like the jowls and loose skin that had developed. She visited with Dr. Kunkel in his plastic surgery office near the Fort Worth Medical District and decided to undergo a facelift with fat grafting. The surgery took place at a Fort Worth hospital and she spent one night in the facility. Her ‘after’ photograph was taken 8 months after her facelift surgery. She loves the improvement in her jawline and neck! People who tan easily tend to form scars that are more noticeable than people who get sun-burned easily.
