Case Details

This 45 year-old woman was found to have DCIS in her right breast.  She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has large, pendulous breasts.  Her mastectomies were performed in Fort Worth using an “anchor” pattern incision like Dr. Kunkel might use for a breast reduction.  Both breasts were reconstructed with tissue expanders.  Four months later the expanders were replaced with 375 ml round silicone gel implants, and each breast also was grafted with 90 cc fat.  She later had tattoos placed for her nipples.  *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
