Case Details
This 73 year-old woman developed cancer in her right breast. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 198 pounds. She had large breasts and decided to keep her breasts by undergoing breast conservation therapy. A Fort Worth breast oncology surgeon removed her cancer by doing a partial mastectomy/lumpectomy. Dr. Kunkel used oncoplastic breast surgery technique to rearrange the remaining right breast tissue. He also performed a left breast reduction at the same time. Her postoperative result is shown 4 months after the surgery and one month after she completed radiation of her right breast. *Keep in mind that each person is unique, and individual results will vary.
